A few words about Dignity: To rise above the superficial and not to engage in needless gossip. To always exercise caution with  words; not bruising or upsetting others. To show love and compassion  but leaving space when required. To understand insults  and  unwelcome statements,  may hold your truest character  reference. To take notice of these and be resolved to learn and adapt  your behaviour accordingly. To understand each of our facets are double-sided. To understand pleasure  you must have pain; to be ill, you must at times  be healthy and so on. To go forward on the moving escalator  of life facing truths, but living moment by moment as best you can. Finally you cannot ascribe dignity to yourself.  It remains the private opinions of other people. Ck 19-21/04/'21 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 G enerally O nline browsing promotes O nly a G ood L earning E xperience. No talk plundered the atmosphere. All was good. Time, did of course move on  and imperceptibly the comfort bubble began to disperse ;  allowing the emotional winds  engage the present circumstances. Cold at Notgrove.   Being Brave To look into the dark eyes of your soul and examine existence up close. To be prepared to ride the moving staircase of possible consequences. To undestand pain and joy are  two sides of the  same coin. To realize your future may be guarded by memories from the past. To continue to gaze at stars, catching rainbows in your mind whilst deepening that inward smile. Ck 20/02/'21 👴👴👴👴👴👴 Courtesy J.E. Poem, Prose and Skies

Self-Portrait The Old Tree The wind of despair blew around the old tree. He looked forward to the re-assurance  of the Sun , warming  his gnarled bark These days he felt closer to his roots than his ageing branches. He longed, with a sigh for the short- lived vitality of blossom, where he felt pride and joined Cherry, Pear and Apple in a wavy cascade of colour These days, he looked at admiration at Chloe Cherry, who had reached a crown of maturity, within a few Season’s turn., whilst Arthur Apple and Pam Pear seemed a little reluctant to grow many rings. These days it was good to reach out with his root tendrils to Chloe; Arthur and Pam and share a bit sap with them. This day the Old Tree was shutting down for Winter and living with the wisdom of his ring memories. He would try to grow upwards when Spring arrived.                                             ...

Sunsets: Poems: Wise Words.

Image
Each Sunset marks the end of a day and the beginning of tomorrow Each day should be exited with Grace; then each new Sunrise should be entered with a sense of thankfulness. They are blessings indeed. Sunset Boulevard A vividness. A moment of knowledge, beguiling at times. A wonderment, or merely unnoticed. Like life. Waiting for the spark. Embracing the flames; then drenched by rain. Tonight how will the Sun set ? Ck19/01/'21 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞   Spanish photos , Courtesy J.E. The cake rises to the mixture. The rivet builds the ship, whose anchor needs the chain to hold. Personal Mantras: Wise Words: Views

Image
Personal Mantras   Don't just ponder Get up and wander. Don't throw  spanners into your good manners. Change your mood don't sit and brood. Put on your bravest face  and keep smiling with good grace. If you have good vital signs get out there and ring those chimes. No need to dwell you're  looking swell. Personal pride means there is no need to snide. C''mon up and face the day don't let those dreams runaway. Up that slope you must ascend there is no hill that never ends. All mine except the  last one above  adapted from a Maasai proverb. Please add more of your own. 💂💂💂💂💂 " Whispers can be more powerful than shouting. "          Greta Thurnberg. 💂💂💂💂💂 Beech trees begin to colour. At the cusp of Winter.
