Catch up with Photos. A coded life?

The nights draw in and real racing returns. The majestic leaps; the noble presence; triumph and disaster lie side by side. Elation and despair. The Winter Kings return for our pleasure.

Frosty, crisp mornings, bring heart-warming country-side views. Here are three, two from darkest Essex, one from deepest Brockworth.

So for a short time it is possible to walk across to Eel Pie Island.

On October 16th, owing to unusual weather conditions , aided by Saharan dust, the sun appeared to turn pink- weird stuff!

The above is a picture taken from inside the new, American style burger bar " Five Guys, " which has recently opened in Cheltenham.

Young d. took me there last Tuesday 14th November 2017.
A brightly, lit space, it was notable for a deafening sound system, which threatened to overwhelm the would be diner.
So much so that my initial reaction was one of escape.

It was only when I realised that a tune playing,  was by Joe Walsh, one of my favourite artists, that I calmed down and lost my flight panic.
The burger? yep it was  hand-cooked,  super tasty  coupled with  french fries, home grown from Lancashire potatoes.

Further more it came complete with dill pickle, which as everyone knows is an essential requirement for any self respecting burger.

So ambience 2**

food   5*****

overall Five Guys 3.5 ***

But there is always forgiveness on hand for a bar,  that plays Joe Walsh and Led Zeppelin , to name but two.

Bothered by the march of ones and noughts.

Large data streams  which conflict

Against my  privacy issues.

Taking away my name,

Health and personal status

Erasing some of my essence.

Reducing all to a digital code.
